Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever from amongst you is able to have hidden righteous actions, then let him do so." [As-Sahīhah, 5/398]
Ali ibn Abi Taalib said: "A righteous deed is that you perform an action seeking no praise except from Allāh."[Mawsu’a Ibn Abi Dunyah 1/174]
